"Dark Paths" - 2010
For the first time in history we used external help for the recording of this one and we are very satisfied with the result. Forged within the Drop Hammer Studios, this new piece called "Dark Paths" writes another page in our long discography of promo outings. It turned out to be everything we expected and more. Two new monolithic songs are presented that definitely encapsulate the Avathar sound we've been striving to achieve. Special thanks to Matias Helle for his unyielding work with the recording and mixing and Jaakko Viitalähde for the mastering. The coverart will be revealed later and it will be designed by death-illustrated.net. "Dark Paths" is the culmination of our current style.
Avathar is now 10 years old. The progress we've made is downright significant and we believe we haven't used all our tricks, not just yet. Hopefully our debut album is drawing near.
